MEET OUR STAFF

Dr Ashley Hill

Doctor Hill did her undergraduate work at the University of Deleware, where she received a Bachlors in Animal Science.  From there she went on to spend four years at Mississippi State University where she received both her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine and her Masters in Veterinary Science.  Four years at Mississippi State wasn't enough for Doctor Hill, so she choose to stay for a one year internship in Equine Medicine and Surgery.  From there Doctor Hill went to Virginia Tech University where she did a one year residency in Equine Internal Medicine.

Doctor Hill arrived at Irwin Animal Clinic in April 2011.  She drove down for a two day visit and instantly fell in love with the clinic, staff and community.  When Doctor Clayton made her a job offer she immediately accepted and has been a driving force at the clinic ever since.  She has helped bring a new energy and excitement to Irwin Animal Clinic.  She very much loves the community and clients and looks forward to what she can do to help Irwin Animal Clinic grow in the future.

Dr. Hill and her husband Rob have been married since October 2009.  They met in Mississippi where they just happened to live in the same apartment complex.  Together they have four dogs and a cat. (Kota, Mollie, Dobby, Dango and Nova)

Kim Ross, RVT

Kim spent three years at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College where she earned a degree in Animal Science, as well as, a degree in Poultry Science.  From there she went on to Gwinett Technical College where she earned her degree in Veterinary Technology.  After that she decided to do a Large Animal Internship at the University of Georgia.

Born and raised in Irwin County, once Kim finished her schooling and training, she knew she wanted to come back home.  Seven years ago she got in contact with Doctor Clayton about coming onboard at Irwin Animal Clinic, and she has been here ever since.  In her time with us, Kim has continued her drive for education by obtaining a certification as a Hill's Science Diet Nutritionist as well as Specializing and Reinforcing Dentistry in Veterinary Medicine.  While it's great to have a certified technician with so much knowledge, Kim's greatest assets are her work ethic, attitude and love of this community.  She sets a high standard at Irwin Animal Clinic.

In August of 2008, Kim married to her highschool sweetheart, Justin.  Together they own a cattle operation and Show Halter Horses.  They currently have four dogs.  (Ellie, Paris, Haven and Copper)

Candice Fletcher

Candice graduated from Grace Baptist Christian School in 2009.  She is currently working towards her degree in Animal Science at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, while working full time.

She has lived in Irwin County for over 10 years and has been a member of our staff since 2008.  Candice came onboard as a High School student, wanting to learn about the different animals she loves and has developed into a very versitile Veterinary Assistant.

What Candice lacks in knowledge and experience, she makes up for in her desire to learn.  Aided by her outgoing personality, Candice shows up day in and day out with a positive attitude.  She has a strong love for animals and her patient care is top notch.  Many great things lie ahead for Mrs. Fletcher, and we are happy to have her while she is pursuing her dreams.

Candice was married to David in 2010.  Friends for 10 years, they always find time for each other while balancing work, school and David's military obligations.  Together they have three dogs, a cat and three horses. (Buckshot, Foxie, Rocky, Rufus, Brandy, Lightning and Fashion.
